    Program Highlights

    • Launched in 2017, the Turkish CIP allows foreign investors to obtain full Turkish citizenship (including passport) through qualified investments.
    • No residency requirement
    • Dual citizenship allowed
    • Citizenship is lifetime and inheritable

    Investment Options (as of 2024)

    1. Real Estate Investment

    • Minimum: $400,000 USD
    • Property must be held for at least 3 years
    • Can be residential or commercial, off-plan or completed
    • Multiple properties allowed if total value meets requirement

    2. Capital Investment

    • Minimum: $500,000 USD
    • Deposit in a Turkish bank, or invest in goverment bonds
    • Turkish company shares
    • Venture capital or real estate investment fund must be held for 3 years

    3. Job Creation

    • Create jobs for at least 50 Turkish citizens
    • Verified by the Ministry of Labor

    4. Bank Deposit

    • Deposit $500,000 USD in a Turkish bank
    • Must remain in the account for 3 years

    Application Process

    • Choose an investment type
    • Get a certificate of eligibility (depending on investment)
    • Apply for a residency permit (no physical stay required)
    • Submit citizenship application
    • Background check & document review
    • Receive Turkish passport in 3–6 months

    • Health insurance (temporary for residency)
